※Recent years’ situation of neighboring communities and social care:

In 2025, the MEGA PXMART – Chungho Branch will cooperate with charitable organizations (such as the Taiwan Lok-Chih Charity Association and the Social Welfare and Charity Foundation) and neighboring villages (such as Fushan Village and Anhe Village) to carry out donation activities for New Year’s dishes, mooncakes and pomelos during the Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival, fulfilling the Company’s social responsibility.

In 2025, Ruentex Industries Co., Ltd., together with affiliated companies of Ruentex Group, jointly organized a blood donation campaign, encouraging employees to roll up their sleeves and donate while also rallying broader public participation. Blood donation not only helps patients in need and saves precious lives, but it also promotes the donor’s own blood metabolism and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. The campaign was held in collaboration with the Taipei Blood Center, resulting in the collection of 294 bags of blood. Plans are already underway to continue such initiatives in the coming year.

Earth Hour, also known as World Lights Out Day, is an event initiated by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Sydney in 2007. Currently, over 18,000 landmarks in 192 countries and regions worldwide have switched off their lights in support of Earth Hour. Taiwan has participated since 2011, saving a cumulative 1.828 million kilowatt-hours of electricity and reducing carbon emissions by 955,585 kilograms over the past 15 years—equivalent to planting 86,871 twenty-year-old trees. Our company will also participate in this event in 2025, hoping to set an example and encourage all stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and customers, to join in and contribute to reducing global warming.

In May 2024, Ruentex Industries Co., Ltd.’s Zhonghe Branch (RT-Mart Zhonghe Store) organized a volunteer day activity. To help maintain cleanliness in the surrounding environment of the business location, employees brought their own cleaning tools to tidy up the area. The activity involved 15 participants and a total of 45 hours of service, fully demonstrating care for the local community and the Company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.
